NAT JAY SIGNS WITH SYNCSTORIES

(Vancouver/Los Angeles) ~ Singer, songwriter, and recording artist Nat Jay is excited to announce that she has signed a deal to work with Los Angeles company, SyncStories. Over the last few years, the songstress has accumulated over 30 sync placements in Film + TV, with her songs appearing on major networks around the world. Not only is this an impressive feat for a self-managed, self-published indie artist, but it has also earned her an international fan base.

SyncStories is a one-stop music licensing and publishing company and will be representing Nat Jay's sync catalogue throughout the world, excluding Canada. With new music expected out later this year, the timing is perfect for this union. "I was determined to expand my team with the release of my upcoming album," says Jay. "Getting sync placements has been my main M.O. as an artist, so I knew it would be a good place to start. I'm confident that SyncStories is the right partner to take my music into new territories and uncover opportunities to showcase my music and my abilities. I'm looking forward to working under the guidance of Cassie and Eric's extensive knowledge and love that they're right in the thick of things down in L.A."

SyncStories is a dynamic partnership between CEO, Eric Vasquez and President, Cassie Lord. The organization merges first-rate indie artists, world class production music libraries, and custom music services, providing one-stop music licensing and creative solutions for the TV, Film, and Interactive Media industries. Still in its beginning stages, SyncStories was founded as an “artist and composer first” music company, and has already seen great success using this approach, with placements in productions like Glow, Ibiza, Avengers: End Game, Narcos, Master Chef, Paddington 2, Nashville, and many more.

CEO, Eric Vasquez’s music career spans well over 20 years as a musician, composer, A&R, producer, entrepreneur, and recording engineer, in addition to an 8-year touring career as drummer for early 80’s iconic punk rock band, “Dr.Know.” As a composer and music producer, Vasquez has produced hundreds of original songs and compositions that can be heard on numerous television shows, films, and advertisements. As former President and Founder of 5 Alarm Music (acquired by Ole in 2016), SyncStories President Cassie Lord directed production and operations resulting in music heard on many TV and Film projects, including Game of Thrones, X-Men, Godzilla, Mad Men, Breaking Bad, Stranger Things, Narcos, Modern Family, True Blood; and commercials such as Dodge, Old Navy, and Pepsi, to name a few. She also spearheaded the formation of the Film and Television Divisions for APM Music and FirstCom over a 16-year span.

Nat Jay will have further announcements regarding her new music in the near future. In the meantime, she continues to administer her music licensing initiatives in Canada, while focused on planning her upcoming release and growing her team.
